As the harvest season unfolds in the picturesque Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Hasher Family Wines invites wine enthusiasts and families alike to gather for their Autumn Harvest Celebration on Saturday, April 5th, 2025. This unique event blends the joy of seasonal abundance with an immersive experience set against the stunning backdrop of vineyards and rolling hills.

For wine lovers, the celebration begins in the cellar, where guests will join winemaker Natasha Williams for a first fermentation tasting of the 2025 vintage. This rare opportunity offers a glimpse into the developing wines, with expert guidance from Natasha herself. As an added treat, attendees will enjoy an exclusive re-release of the Marimist Chardonnay 2020, paired perfectly with a selection of gourmet bites.

The heart of the event, however, is the harvest table feast. Featuring a menu inspired by the season's freshest produce, guests will indulge in locally sourced cheeses, freshly baked mosbolletjies (traditional South African sweet bread), and artisanal harvest plates that are thoughtfully designed to complement the cool-climate wines from Hasher Family Wines. Each dish is a celebration of local flavours and the delicate balance between food and wine.

While adults are indulging in the winery’s finest offerings, younger guests will embark on a magical Easter forage through the vineyards. Guided by the estate's trusted hosts, children will hunt for authentic Belgian chocolates and the final harvest grapes, making for an enchanting experience that is as much a part of the celebration as the wine itself.

With limited seating available, the Autumn Harvest Celebration promises an intimate and family-friendly gathering that wine lovers won’t want to miss. The event runs from 14:00 – 18:00, and tickets are priced at R1200 per adult and R650 per child (ages 5 and up).
