In a vibrant corner of Johannesburg, KT-Interior has unveiled Paradiso at Monte Casino, a captivating venue inspired by childhood memories of carousel rides and vintage circus shows. This space takes guests back to simpler times, capturing the essence of a classic theatre.

Creative director Kobus Truter explains the focus was on flexibility, ensuring each area can easily adapt to different atmospheres and functions. The layout is not only beautiful but also versatile, allowing for an array of events while maintaining a whimsical feel.

The entrance canopy sets the tone, drawing you into a nostalgic world. At the heart of the venue is the carousel bar, draped in bespoke fabrics and illuminated with curated lighting, inviting guests to indulge in both the atmosphere and the experience.

Custom furniture, lighting, and sculptural pieces weave throughout the venue with each detail crafted to enhance the nostalgic narrative. The journey continues upstairs with a playful sculptural wall leading guests to the pink bar. Here, the design turns towards nature, with a forest-themed bathroom that immerses visitors in an imaginative escape, featuring custom-stained glass bugs, monkey-shaped basins, and ambient sounds.

In line with the philosophy of maximalism, the design incorporates rich, patterned fabrics and mirrored accents to create depth and sensory richness. The goal is to enhance the sense of opulence and drama, showcasing the luxurious materials that elevate the overall experience.
