Check out their instas, support and hopefully purchase a piece of two for your home.

Ceri Muller

‘Inspired by the human body and the fluid, organic shapes of the natural world’ Ceri Muller’s work is designed to be either functional or stand alone sculptures. Ceri was born in SA but is now based in Amsterdam, taking her one of a kind pieces to a broader more global market.

Jan Ernst de Wet

Cape Town based ceramicist Jan Ersnt De Wet’s ‘organic designs stem from his abstract understanding of form and space influenced by his background in architecture, his connection with the natural world, and his South African heritage.’

Jade Paton

Another Capetonian creator, Jade Paton is one of the more well known ceramicists. With her organic vessels bringing all of our Pinterest dreams to life as well as her work being displayed at some of the top restaurants in the country, there’s no doubt that we would all like a Jade Paton piece of our own.

Farah Hernandez Ceramic

Creating stoneware ceramics and porcelain pieces, our eye is one Farah Hernamdez’s Al Hurra collection which focuses on the deeper meaning of the female form through pottery.

Alexia Klompje

Ceramicist and Shaman, Alexia Klompie’s work is undoubtedly otherworldly. Her work is all about self expression, creativity and healing which is evident in the pure beauty of her pieces.

Ben Orkin

Although he is currently completing his studies in fine art, Ben Orkin is making a name for himself in the world of ceramics and sculpting. His work is absolutely immersive as his practice ‘is informed by the human form as it evolves through the experience of both spatial and interpersonal relationships.’

Natasha Viljoen

Another Cape Town based ceramic artist as well as pottery teacher, Natasha Viljoen was practically born to be a ceramic artist, with her mother and grandmother teaching her the healing powers of clay. Not only is her personal work exquisite, but you can join her for a lesson too!

Tarryn & Craig Ceramics

Siblings and ceramicists create small batches of slab or hand-built pottery. Tarryn & Craig are all about ‘embracing the imperfections of handmade pieces and air of character.’

Based in Arniston, Martin Swart produces a range of pieces from porcelain, stoneware and earth-ware to handmade pottery and throwing clay on the wheel. You can expect to find all your practical necessities like plates, mugs, jugs and more in his collection, each piece being created in a comeply unique way.
