Taking home multiple awards is the ‘Showhouse 5’, by Louise O Architects and the team at W3O, with interior designer Tiggs Crozet. Showhouse 5 has been awarded Best Architecture, Best Interior Design, Best Landscaping, and Best Build, by multiple prestigious judges.

“The last time we designed a home for a Century HomeShow, it was a home that everyone wanted, but not everyone was able to afford,” says Louise Osborne of Louise O Architects. “Times have changed significantly in the last 11 years, and once again we set out to design a dream home, but this time the goal was to make it more affordable without losing any of the important aspects of great design and style.”

With a stylish layout designed around maximising the amount of garden space on the property. By maximising the connection between garden space and each room, beautiful light travels throughout the home, a signature-Louise O connection with nature bringing an overall sense of calm throughout this home.

“Our goal was to build a home that offers unbelievable value for money, complete with top quality, high-end finishes. Through clever designs, many joint years of great experience in the industry, and economies of scale, we achieved our goal of making dream homes a reality, not just for the fortunate people who get to buy this particular showhouse, but many other families too,” says Louise Osborne.

Other homes at the estate like ‘Showhouse Number 1’ by Studious Architects and Bloc Developments, was awarded Best Use of Technology by Duncan Pike, Tech Editor from Stuff Magazine. The home is a striking three-level masterpiece seamlessly connected by a central staircase.

Showhouse Number 3 is designed for the ultimate South African lifestyle boasting spacious, easy flow from indoors to outdoors. Studious Architects crafts spaces that harmonise with nature, while prioritising functionality. With a diverse portfolio and a passion for innovative design, they redefine living environments into immersive, inspiring spaces.

“The Century HomeShow is not just an opportunity to invest by making the move to an estate which offers a superior lifestyle close to nature within easy access to main business hubs in Johannesburg, it is also an opportunity for anyone to gain inspiration for their current home or renovation and engage with the teams which created these homes,” says Mark Corbett, CEO of Century Property Developments.
