There is nothing better than having the opportunity to spend time in a beautiful workspace that inspires you with fresh décor, style and positive vibes, making you look forward to hours spent in the office on a daily basis.
Glee At Work is the Mother City’s latest trendy co-working space that has been designed and built by Glen and Fee Ainsworth in partnership with local carpentry talent, Bheki Dlamini. The pay-as-you-go co-working space offers clients a flexible payment plan that works for entrepreneurs, start-ups or freelancers.
The working spaces boast a rainbow of playful colours and eye-catching artwork. The façade of glass lets in natural light which is perfectly accompanied by furniture, interior walls and ceilings made of timber. Indoor plants bring an extra natural edge and lightness to the office giving it more of a hotel feel than that of a corporate environment.
According to the team, every corner of the Glee office has been designed to be able to provide customers with an office experience that works specifically for them.
‘When Fee and I returned from London to South Africa in April this year I needed a convenient workspace but wasn’t keen on taking out a lease. Having looked at loads of options in and around Cape Town I found that payment plans were either short or long leases. Needing only two days a week in an office, this just didn’t work for me,’ shared Glen Ainsworth.
‘We spend most of our time at work and technology allows us to work from anywhere. So why not do so from somewhere which you just love to be in, and which loves your pocket?’, Glen added.
Its pay-as-you-go rates range from R250 per day for booth seating and a hot desk, R275 per day per person for a Mezzanine floor that has six seats, R300 per day for a private office and R250 per hour to rent a funky meeting room or the 10-seater boardroom for R350 ph. There is no limit on how many, or few, hours or days are booked and the team actually tailors payment plans to suit their various clients’ needs.
