As the grape harvest season at Vergelegen Wine Estate comes to a close, what better way to celebrate than with a rustic feast in a stunning new secret venue on this 325-year-old Somerset West farm? On Sunday, 6 April 2025, Vergelegen will host an exclusive harvest feast, offering a perfect blend of fine wine, exceptional food, and picturesque settings.

The evening kicks off at 16:00 at the Wine Tasting Centre, where guests will embark on a scenic ride through the estate to a hidden vineyard setting. Here, guests can sip on bubbles, savour gourmet canapés, and even hand-pick their own grapes, capturing Instagram-worthy moments along the way.

As the sun begins to set, the journey continues to a secret pop-up venue, where two long harvest tables will be set for an intimate, family-style feast. Guests will indulge in artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and homegrown vegetables, while live music from the Ceekay acoustic cover band sets the mood. The feast will be paired with a selection of exquisite Heritage Range wines, all served in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

This exclusive event is limited to just 60 guests, ensuring a truly special experience. Tickets are R950 per person, which includes a welcome drink, canapés, harvest dinner, live music, wine, and a take-home gift.
