Funniest Travel Story?
I went on a hiking trip with my best friend to Namibia, we hiked the Fish River Canyon (80km over 5 days). Every morning someone from the group was in charge of making coffee for the group. The morning I was in charge, the group overslept.
It was starting to become light and I dashed around trying to make everyone’s coffee and waking up the group. Only to find out that it was not the sun but rather the moon shining bright and the actual time was only 3 am! The group was not impressed having their sleep interrupted!

Your All-Time Favourite Vacation?
My cruise with Cruises International was hands-down the best trip! I was on board Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas cruise ship! We started off in Fort Lauderdale, went to the Bahamas (one of my bucket-list destinations), St Kitts Island and St Thomas Island.
Not once did it feel like I was on a ship, the activities and entertainment were endless as well as the food and drinks! I met the most interesting people and had one big party for 8 days! It was easy to travel this way – checked into my room on board, and enjoyed the day trips with only my handbag.

Best Meal Eaten On A Trip?
Ukraine was a culinary experience that I will never forget – the food was unbelievable and flavour packed. But the best meal was a hamburger I ordered in Kiev, outside the stadium, ahead of the Champions League Final. What made this burger extraordinary was when I placed the order, the gentleman stated crafting the patty from scratch! It was pure perfection for street food.
