Love Milo has created a whimsical blossom range of fabric rolled out across cushions, storage baskets, tote bags and for the very first time, kimonos.
The new design range was created to bring the outdoor beauty vibe, indoors in an innovative way. Inspired by the soft colours of Spring, it features new pastels and a revamp of Love Milo’s traditional magnolia blossoms.
The new design features french lilac and pistachio tones meshed with blossom white and peach. The colours of the new design fit perfectly with the rest of the Love Milo range, especially the brass range that adds a classically whimsical yet elegance touch.
Designer Nicki Ellis spent a lot of time in Japan in her early twenties and has always had a connection with the culture and country. "I have wonderful memories of the beautiful spring blossoms that lined the streets in Spring, and they bring back a certain nostalgia for me. The kimono is a tribute to this special time and place in my life.'' The kimonos are made of super soft cotton so that the gown can flow effortlessly around your body. The fabric design features a peacock on the back of the kimono that is an emblem of love.
Price range from R350 to R1500.
