Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel, Cape Town has been named No.28 in the global ranking of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024, which also includes other industry-defining hotels from across six continents worldwide. Not only does the The Mount Nelson Hotel (also affectionately called ‘The Nellie’) rank at No.28, but claims its spot of 2024's Best Hotel in Africa.

Our House & Garden SA editors have also been known to pop in for a signature Afternoon Tea expertly curated by South Africa’s first expert-trained tea sommelier, Craig Cupido; take a front row seat at the annual Confections x Collections fashion celebration, as well as peruse the hotel’s fabulous art collection.
