Italian fashion house Gucci is expanding its foray into the fine dining industry. The brand revealed plans to open its fourth restaurant in Seoul, Korea.
The restaurant, called Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura, will open on the fourth floor of its GUCCI GAOK flagship store, in Seoul’s Itaewon district.
Gucci Osteria is a chain of fine-dining establishments with its first store opening in Florence, Italy in 2018. The debut location is headed by chef Massimo Bottura, and has been awarded a Michellin star. Other locations include Beverly Hills, California and Ginza, Tokyo.
The menus of each location are adapted to suit the local cuisine, thus, the restaurant’s Itaewon establishment is likely to include Korean delicacies and tastes.
The new Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura restaurant is slated to open sometime in 2022.
