An unforgettable family-friendly event filled with fun, exceptional food, and fine wine, you’re invited to join on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Taking place in July, October, and December, each chapter of the Family & Fine Wine Feasts serves up a unique theme designed to bring families and friends together for fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Truly a family affair, the Family & Fine Wine Feast Series is a chance to indulge in fine dining within a relaxed, family-friendly setting in the beautiful Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. And yes, children are welcome!
What to Expect
As you arrive at 16:00, adult guests are invited to unwind with a glass of Hasher Family Wines’ crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Followed by an intimate wine-tasting experience led by co-owner Frederik and winemaker Natasha Williams, guests are set to explore the nuances of their premium cool-climate wines.
Children are invited to explore via a walking safari through the vineyard, discovering the fynbos, and foraging for seasonal ingredients. Guided by their knowledgeable staff, children will discover the wonders of the Cape Floral Kingdom and then help prepare dinner.
Family Feast in the Cellar
As the sun sets, gather inside the cosy, candlelit cellar. Adults and children will share a beautifully decorated table and enjoy a mouth-watering menu created by Chef Ricky Broekhoven. Children will dine on the same dishes as their parents, making for a truly inclusive fine dining experience that celebrates seasonal flavours and the joy of eating together.
